Duplication of the Princes Highway between Traralgon and Sale is on every candidate’s policy list, according to the Latrobe Valley Express.
“Labor candidate for the Gippsland by-election, Darren McCubbin, previously told The Express the Rudd Government would commit $140 million for stage one of the project and was ready to work with the state to deliver it,” the paper reported.
“But Mr McCubbin could not confirm when the government would fund the highway duplication.
“Nationals candidate Darren Chester and Liberal Party candidate Rohan Fitzgerald have also pledged to push for works to proceed.”
So they all want the road upgraded. They all want the Maffra Secondary College improved as well.
All the candidates believe breastfeeding is good for infants and mums should receive gifts on Mother’s Day.
The question is: how will they deliver and who is best capable of delivering?
