OzComments was able to secure an exclusive interview with the quokka embroiled in Western Australia’s Liberal Party leadership crisis.

The quokka, known only as Matt, tells of her experiences with a Troy Buswell lookalike.

Matt: I was standing around looking cute, hoping for a bite to eat, and this big bloke in a suit came along.

Oz: What happened next?

Matt: Sniff.

Oz: Sorry, this must be difficult for you, take your time.

Matt: No, you don’t get it, he sniffed me.

Oz: He sniffed you (incredulous)?

Matt: Yeh, like we were dogs or something, and he wanted to know me better.

Oz: What happened next?

Matt: I bit him.

Oz: And then?

Matt: He screamed “Oh my day” but I’m sure he meant to say “Oh my God” then he was struck by lightning … I think humans call it a camera.
