I wonder if it would be useful at the Post Office when collecting parcels. This morning I went to collect a parcel from the parcel hatch...I had in my hot little hand the blue card that was in my post box. Even though I have done this a hundred times before...I had no photo proof of ID because I don't have a drivers licence. Sometimes proving who you are is worse than visiting the dentist. The national identity card would be good.
