Symonds needs to take a break

Andrew Symonds has apparently been ruled out of selection for the Australian tour of South Africa.
That’s a good decision.
Symonds obviously has problems and needs to be rehabilitated like South African ace Herschelle Gibbs.
It’s ironic that Symonds objected to (allegedly) being called a monkey, but then (without doubt) called an opposition player a “lump of shit”.
Ricky Ponting’s loyalty to his players is admirable, but it’s also knee jerk.
He defended Symonds without hearing the interview, just as he defended Brad Haddin over the controversial dismissal against New Zealand without reviewing the replay.
Standing by your teammates is more credible if you know all the facts.

Got something to say?

I totally agree????? There is absolutley no difference between a tongue in cheek Roy & HG program and a cricket match played in India. Both are hilariously funny.
Nothing funnier than Indian money manipulating the wonderful game of cricket.
Rather than focus on Roy, who is one person. Too many people sparing to throw the first stone I suspect.
Why not look at the bigger picture. A good place to start is Indian manipulation of the beloved game.
India. A land where mass murder does not lead to cancellation of matches. Want to konw why? $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
