Conflict of interest

Michael West wrote a strong and thoughtful opinion piece in The Age on Opes Prime and the role of Australia’s corporate regulators.

There does seem to be an undeniable case that the Australian Securities Exchange has failed to adequately monitor and regulate the industry it profits from.

West calls the ASX and ASIC “watch poodles”.
