Obama photo livens up G8 summit

ObamaThis picture apparently does not show the leader of the free world checking out the shapely posterior of a 16-year-old Brazilian girl.

According to Newsweek, United States president Barack Obama is moving into position to offer his hand to the girl in the floral skirt and black top behind him to help her step down.

So why all the fuss and why post it here?

It’s a great photo and it stimulates a range of reactions. I was unsure about Obama’s interest, but found French president Sarkozy’s expression amusing. Read more
